Twitter has over 316 Million monthly active users worldwide, and is rapidly growing in South Asia. Facebook alone has over 10 Billion users worldwide and over 5.2 million users in Nepal alone. I personally believe that twitter creates more value to a person than Facebook or Instagram and other social platforms. Facebook is generally focused on connecting with the friends and family and perhaps upsells the business for Facebook as integration for those people to see what businesses around them are upto. However Twitter is based on completely different concept. Every Twitter handle is treated, as an influencer for which requires followers to engage. Getting followers is more difficult than getting sending friend request on Facebook. Because twitter users are very peculiar about who they follow. And now, How does Twitter creates value? Rather than going through pictures of your friends, You go through what matters to you in real life like #TrendingNews #Blogs #Stories and #Tweets of people you want to follow and get influenced in such a way that you actually want to make some changes in your life as well. For Example: If you are a kind of person who wants to be updated with latest news, Breaking News as it happens. So what you should do is Follow @CNN or @cnnbrk (For Breaking News) and turn on mobile notification to get tweet notification straight to your mobile devices. Trust me it really works like wonders, you dont need to download their apps just Turn the notification On. Same with @eKantipur Or @OnlineKhabar if you want to keep updated with latest news.

- Hashtag (#): A way to denote a topic of conversation or participate in a larger linked discussion (e.g. #ads, #Nepal #ComeBackIndianBarbars #NepalEarthquake ). A hashtag is a discovery tool that allows others to find your tweets, based on topics. You can also click on a hash tag to see all the tweets that mention it in real time — even from people you don’t follow.
